Reassurance feels helpful in the moment — but with OCD, it can quietly feed the cycle.

When someone asks, “Are you sure?” over and over, it’s not attention-seeking. It’s anxiety looking for relief.
Real support isn’t endless reassurance.

It’s patience.
It’s consistency.
It’s gently helping them sit with uncertainty instead of fighting it.

Support the person — not the OCD. 💛

Recently diagnosed with OCD and confused about what it all means?

Want to know more about Exposure and Response Prevention, the gold standard treatment?

This 10-week virtual therapy group is for anyone diagnosed with OCD or looking to better understand what OCD is and what treatment can look like. Together, we’ll explore intrusive thoughts, compulsions, values, and how OCD impacts everyday life, while also breaking down what Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) really is and addressing common fears around it.

Group therapy is a more affordable way to access specialized OCD support, and being in a group offers the added benefit of learning alongside others who truly understand what you’re going through. You don’t need to feel ready to start ERP to join—this group is about clarity, connection, and helping you decide what next steps feel right for you.

Facing fear doesn’t mean forcing yourself before you’re ready or pretending you’re not scared. It means gently turning toward what feels uncomfortable instead of letting it silently control your choices.

Fear often shows up to protect us — but when it goes unexamined, it can keep us stuck in cycles of avoidance, self-doubt, or overwhelm. Healing begins when we learn how to face fear with support, curiosity, and compassion.

How we can help:
Therapy offers a safe place to explore fears at your own pace, build coping tools, and strengthen trust in yourself. You don’t have to face hard things alone — we’re here to walk alongside you.

You don’t have to let OCD dictate your story.

This quote is a powerful reminder that OCD may be loud and demanding, but it is not the author of your life. You have the strength to choose a different path, one guided by your values, your dreams, and the future you want to build.

This is your moment to step forward, challenge the fear, and reclaim your freedom, one brave step at a time.

Start choosing your life today.
Whether that means seeking support, learning new strategies, or simply reminding yourself that you’re stronger than OCD, take action now. Your life is yours to live.

We can help!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Today is all about slowing down, savoring the moment, and recognizing the good that surrounds us, even the small things we often overlook.

If you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed this season, a simple practice can make a big difference: gratitude journaling.

Here’s why it helps:
💛 Shifts your focus from what’s going wrong to what’s going right
🧠 Calms anxious thoughts by grounding you in the present
🌱 Builds resilience and strengthens a more positive mindset over time
💬 Improves mood by reminding you of the people, moments, and wins (big and small) that matter.

Tonight, try writing down 3 things you’re grateful for.

No matter how simple (a warm meal, a kind message, a moment of quiet) it counts.

Wishing you a peaceful, heart-full Thanksgiving.

What are you grateful for today?
