From reducing waste to being more mindful of how we use resources, small actions can lead to meaningful change over time.

A healthier planet is something we all contribute to, one decision at a time.

Many STDs don’t show symptoms, which is why testing matters even when you feel fine.

Getting started is simple. You can schedule testing with your primary care provider, visit a local clinic, or find low-cost or free testing options through community health centers and organizations like Planned Parenthood. Testing is often quick, confidential, and more accessible than people expect.

Taking this step is about staying informed, protecting your health, and looking out for your partners as well.

If it’s been a while, consider making testing part of your routine care.

At the SOGH Annual Clinical Meeting last September, Dr. Tanvi Karmarkar presented a compelling case report exploring imaging of the postpartum uterus—and the critical reality that imaging may not always provide clear answers when patients become acutely ill and rapid source control is needed.

A thoughtful reminder of the complexity behind clinical decision-making and why real-world case discussions matter.

Regular prenatal visits play a critical role in monitoring both maternal and fetal health throughout pregnancy.
