💍✨ 70 years of love, laughter, and a little bit of sass! Today we celebrate Ray – better known to those who love him as Pops – and his beautiful bride Cecile on their 70th wedding anniversary! 🥂💐

From raising a family to sharing countless stories, jokes, and smiles, these two have built a lifetime of memories together. Pops still has that twinkle in his eye, and Cecile still knows how to keep him in line (most of the time 😉).

This Sunday, Pops and Cecile will be renewing their vows right here at Stonecroft, and they’ve invited everyone to join in the celebration. What a beautiful way to honor seven decades of love! ❤️

Today we’re celebrating National Beard Day by spotlighting our very own Ben, our bearded maintenance man! 🛠️

Ben is the guy who keeps everything running smoothly around here — and he does it all while sporting his marvelous beard. 🧔✨ It’s not just a beard, it’s practically a Stonecroft landmark at this point!

Don’t mind the photo… he was just testing out the new Snapchat feature. We thought it looked too cool not to post.😉📸

🎉 Co****le Showdown at Stonecroft! 🎉

Ms. Gerold and Cecile went head-to-head in an epic game of co****le. Bags were flying, the crowd was cheering, and the competition was fierce! 😆

In the end, Ms. Gerold walked away with the championship title 🏆—but Cecile says she’s ready for a rematch. (We think she’s been secretly practicing already 👀).

Way to go, ladies—you’ve officially made co****le a spectator sport here at Stonecroft! 👏🌽

🍎✨ Our Independent Living residents kicked off apple season in the best way — with a trip to Justus Orchard! From fresh air and mountain views to crisp apples and sweet treats, it was the perfect way to ring in the Hendersonville Apple Festival and the start of apple season. 🍏❤️

At Stonecroft, we’re proud to have team members who go above and beyond—and Amy is one of those shining stars! As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), Amy’s role is to ensure our residents are cared for, comfortable, and supported in every way.

But Amy doesn’t stop there. She brings joy into every room she enters—whether it’s dancing with a resident to their favorite tune or sharing a laugh that brightens their day. Her kindness, energy, and genuine love for what she does make her a favorite among residents and staff alike.

On Friday, August 29, through Monday, September 1, the North Carolina Apple Festival will take place in downtown Hendersonville. The street festival starts at 10:00 am on Friday, August 29, with the opening ceremony taking place at 10:30 AM at the Historic Henderson County Courthouse.

If you go this weekend or have gone in the past, please share your photos and memories with us! We have many residents who have never been and cannot go, so this is the next best thing!
