Fun was had by all during our 4th of July Celebrations this past week! Our Independent Living residents enjoyed a cookout at our community in East Greenbush, while our Assisted Living & Memory Care Residents spent at afternoon at Schodack Town Park under the pavilion. Attendees enjoyed delicious food which was provided by our talented chefs, live music... and even a little dancing. Check out the fun below!

There's nothing quite like a little healthy competition to keep us motivated here at Eddy Hawthorne Ridge! With the help of our on-site team members from PRN Physical and Occupational Therapy, our Independent Living Residents competed in The Hawthorne Ridge High Peaks Challenge. We hand-selected five peaks to virtually climb via our brand-new NuStep excercise machine...and off the the races we went!

Our Story

Eddy Hawthorne Ridge is part of The Eddy, a non-profit organization well-known throughout Rensselaer County and the Capital Region for providing outstanding care and services to seniors. We're also a member of the St. Peter's Health Partners family, the region's largest health care system, which includes hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation, home care and senior living communities.

Want to go for a swim, even in the winter, or walk around a huge indoor track? Interested in reading recently published fiction or non-fiction books that everyone's talking about? Eddy Hawthorne Ridge's campus shares a suburban hillside with both the East Greenbush Y and the East Greenbush Community Library.
