A great big thank you to the t1d families who came out to climb with us yesterday! It was great to see the kids challenging themselves and sticking with it. As always, we are enormously grateful to the volunteers who spent the beautiful fall day encouraging the climbers and keeping them safe.

A belated thank you to families for donating insulin and other diabetes supplies to be shipped to . As a result of thoughtful donations from our local t1d community, Liam has sorted and shipped well over $100k worth of supplies to IFL-USA to date. Thank you for cleaning out your cupboards and your refrigerators to help save lives!

COVID vaccine #1 for this kid. So grateful that included type 1 diabetes in their underlying conditions and that and many others worked so hard to make this happen.

For those of you searching for a COVID vaccine appointment, this tool is amazing! After spending most of the last two days searching online and calling pharmacies, we signed up for this tool late last night, got a text alert around 3 am that appointments had become available in our area, and signed our son up for his first shot on Thursday!

This is a site built by a few folks who were tired of clicking refresh on pharmacy websites trying to get a vaccine appointment. It won't make you eligible for a vaccine, sign you up for one, or make slots appear, but it will save you from clicking refresh a lot.
