Today is One Boston Day — a day to reflect on the unity and strength of our city, honor the first responders and everyday heroes who rushed toward danger 12 years ago, remember those who we lost, and commit ourselves to kindness and service towards our friends and neighbors.

The is deeply grateful for the thousands of people who make the Boston Marathon a success every year, and for all of those who take part in our annual community events to honor this day and help uplift our neighborhoods.

Boston is stronger than ever because of its people and the love and care with which we treat one another. 💙💛
