🌟 BECOME OUR NEXT RISING STAR--Meet LOVE ANDERSON!!🌟

The Heart of an Internship: Where You Learn, Grow, and Become Who You Were Called to Be.

An internship is more than a graduation requirement it’s where a future clinician discovers their voice, their strengths, and their calling. It’s where knowledge becomes skill… and skill becomes impact.

But the right internship site does more than teach you the educational components. The right site pours into you your confidence, your leadership, your purpose, and your potential.

At Community Matters, we believe interns are not just students passing through:

They are future colleagues.

Future leaders.

Future changemakers in our community.

That’s why we create an environment where interns feel SEEN, SUPPORTED, and SET UP FOR SUCCESS.

Here, you don’t just observe you become:

✨ Clinically Ready, gaining hand on experience with children, teens, and families

✨ Skill Built, learning assessment, treatment planning, and real documentation

✨ Community Involved, working in schools, homes, and community mental health spaces

✨ Leadership Oriented, with opportunities to run groups, present workshops, and join initiatives

✨ Mission Driven, shaping the future of mental health with compassion and advocacy

Our internship experience is rooted in our CARES model:

Culturally Responsive. Accessible. Respectful. Empathetic Services. Because the heart of Community Matters is exactly that community. And every intern becomes part of the legacy we are building.

When you choose an internship site, don’t just ask…

“Will I learn the skills?” “Will they see me? Will they grow me? Will they invest in who I am becoming?”

At Community Matters, we pour into the whole person. We mentor. We nurture. We prepare. And we celebrate our interns like our Award-Winning Intern, Love Anderson whom The University of Saint Joseph recognizes her for embodying excellence, readiness, leadership, and advocacy.

If you are ready for an internship that will stretch you, support you, and elevate your future:

Become our next success story!!!
