Today we celebrate an incredible milestone — the retirement of Darlene Savo after more than 20 years of dedicated service as the Headquarters Office Manager at Utopia Home Care.

Darlene has been the heart of our office for over two decades. Her leadership, organization, and unwavering commitment have helped shape Utopia into what it is today. She has guided teams with patience, mentored colleagues, and created a workplace culture built on respect and compassion.

Her impact goes far beyond the day-to-day operations — she has been a steady, trusted presence and an inspiration to everyone who has had the privilege to work alongside her.

Darlene, thank you for your years of hard work, your leadership, and the legacy you leave behind. You will be deeply missed, but we are so excited for this next chapter in your life. Wishing you all the happiness, relaxation, and adventures you deserve in retirement!

She is well known for her positive and uplifting attitude, which brightens the day for everyone around her—especially the residents. Cassandra approaches every request with a can-do spirit and never makes it feel like asking her to take on extra or unusual tasks is a challenge. She is also the aide trusted with the majority of medical appointment escorts, reflecting her reliability and dedication.

Utopia Home Care was proud to attend the recent meet & greet, where we had the opportunity to meet residents, families, and fellow professionals who are all dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of patient care while ensuring regulatory compliance and supporting quality improvement throughout our organization.

The QA / Compliance RN will play an important role in overseeing quality assurance processes, reviewing clinical documentation, supporting staff with best practices, and helping ensure we remain compliant with all state and federal home care regulations. Utopia Home Care recently attended the Healthcare Job Fair at Southern Connecticut State University, and we appreciated the opportunity to connect with students and professionals interested in healthcare careers.

It was nice meeting so many thoughtful and motivated candidates and having the chance to share more about the services we provide and the work we do in the community. Utopia Home Care is currently hiring nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, home health aides, PCAs, homemakers, and companions, and we were glad to speak with attendees about these opportunities.
