Utopia Home Care was honored to attend the Housing Supports Resource Fair at the Dixwell Community House (Q House) in New Haven!

It was a wonderful day focused on connection, support, and community wellness for older adults throughout Greater New Haven. We were proud to stand alongside so many amazing community partners dedicated to providing valuable resources including housing navigation, benefits assistance, wellness support, and services that promote long-term stability and wellbeing. Also, a special thank you to Continuum for organizing the event.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to meet our team, learn more about our services, and share in meaningful conversations. Events like these remind us how important compassionate care, community collaboration, and support are for our seniors and their families!

Darlene has been the heart of our office for over two decades. Her leadership, organization, and unwavering commitment have helped shape Utopia into what it is today. She has guided teams with patience, mentored colleagues, and created a workplace culture built on respect and compassion.

Her impact goes far beyond the day-to-day operations — she has been a steady, trusted presence and an inspiration to everyone who has had the privilege to work alongside her.

Cassandra consistently demonstrates a willingness to go the extra mile for both residents and staff, making her an invaluable asset to Herbert T Clark House She went above and beyond by staying overnight at Herbert during both snowstorms to ensure there were no disruptions in care for the residents. She is well known for her positive and uplifting attitude, which brightens the day for everyone around her—especially the residents. Cassandra approaches every request with a can-do spirit and never makes it feel like asking her to take on extra or unusual tasks is a challenge. She is also the aide trusted with the majority of medical appointment escorts, reflecting her reliability and dedication.
