As we work in mindfulness, encouraging awareness as the key to healing, the client begins to welcome the falling into place of each piece of their personal puzzle. Personally, Melisa agrees with Dr. Deepak Chopra’s early work, Perfect Health, in which he describes how each cell has a brain inside of it.

The brain in each cell holds on to memories. As cells die off and new cells come on to replace them, the memories of trauma and unfinished business are replicated and passed on to the new generation of cells. Thus, the body holds the trauma until it is cleared and let go.

This is why Gestalt is so effective.

It reaches beyond the conscious mind, releases the subconscious mind from what is trapped there, and encourages the full body and every cell to release pain. It unlocks the brain inside every cell of the body and replaces it with peace, which is then replicated in new cells.

We become healthy in body, mind, spirit, and emotions as the process unfolds.

Sunday, August 3rd at 9:30 in the Arena, join us to watch Michelle Berry of Journey Within Equine Healing as she shares an interactive demo on mindfulness and connection with horses!

She will assist equestrians to form a deeper connection with themselves and their horses through a deeper understanding of the horses’ innate nature, as well as yoga practices including breath work, grounding exercises and poses.

I am excited to announce that “Yoga for Equestrians” has been scheduled, and will begin next Friday, March 21st at “Sweetwater Studios” in East Burke, VT.

This is a studio class series for those who want to support their mind, body and energy while riding and connecting with horses.

Classes include breath work to calm nerves, as well as ground and deepen your connection with your self and your horse.
We will also navigate different grounding techniques to help you balance your energy, and sequences of poses to strengthen and improve flexibility in the body. These practices will support you becoming physically stronger, and more effective and comfortable while riding.

This series is for all levels of yoga experience.
No prior experience necessary.
You do not need to be a horse owner to attend.

We will meet every Friday for 4 weeks, 5-6pm.
$50 enrollment

While I re-establish my roots and re-build at a new location, I have re-directed my focus from coaching slightly and am putting more energy into building my yoga offerings, as that is what is most accessible for me at this time.

You will begin to see more regarding these offerings here in this space, as I introduce my great interconnected passion for the grounding and inspiring practice of yoga, and share how it beautifully intertwines with my passion for horses.

There is a great deal of healing and growth that is garnered through yoga, and when partnered with horses, I feel that it truly blossoms into a beautiful blessing to our mind, body and souls; connecting us more deeply with ourselves and the world around us.

This just a first glimpse, and there will be more to come.

There is no denying that horses are and will always be a huge, essential part of my life and soul.

I grew up with their guidance and love, lighting up my soul. They taught me how to feel alive and then how to move through the grief of lose. It was on their backs and in their presence that I felt the most grounded and free. They were my escape, my sanctuary, my courage and my passion. And all of this they will forever be.

It was from my connection with horses and desire to change the lives of others that I have come to step into my vision to unit others with themselves on a deep, soul level through the wisdom of the horse.

My commitment to them is to respect and honor their voice, as well as their intuitive gifts that deliver the ability to heal our most painful wounds.

On this day of the horse I pledge my gratitude to every horse that has walked with me on my journey through life, and swear my commitment to do justly by all equines who’s lives I am blessed to touch as I continue my walk forward.

In devoted memory of my greatest friend and wisest teacher, a handsome spotted horse named Dan, that guided me through life for 20+ years.

Hello everyone,

I have a long awaited update for you all, and am looking forward to breathing life back into this space.

If you have followed me for some time, you may have noticed my silence over the last few years.
Over this time I, and my horses, have been moving through a big life transition as I have undergone the process of divorce and starting anew. This has meant the relocation of myself and my animals multiple times, over the duration of this time period.
We have unfortunately left the beautiful home that I once shared here, but I am excited to announce that we are in the process of rebuilding.
Still located in the northeast kingdom, we are now more specifically stationed in East Haven, VT, a peaceful little town in a rural setting, surrounded by wilderness.

We are still in the building process, but I am looking forward to having much more to share and offer in the coming year.
I thank you for continuing to follow this page, and hope that you will continue to do so, as there is so much to come.
