A few ladies came in this week with lower back pain. I realized they also have an anterior tilt. Since the Psoas muscles are a hip flexor, sitting for long periods of time can shorten these muscles causing more pain for your lower back. Sometimes when people sit for an extended amount of time they will hyperextend their lower back called Lordosis. To correct this, I first applied the infared heating pad, massaged their tight Psoas Muscles and their back muscles called Quadratus Lumborum (QL) then iced. I recommend drinking a lot of water 💦 afterwards and icing more if necessary!

Jenny was living in South Carolina at the time and several friends and family encouraged her to find something she was good at and pursue it! She discovered South Eastern Neuromuscular Massage Therapy in Charlotte, North Carolina. She went for a tour and knew it was God's purpose & calling in life so she took a leap of faith & signed up that day! Eleven years later she still has the same passion to restore & help people become of better version of themselves! In the summer time, you'll find Jenny rock hunting, swimming in Lake Michigan, spending time with family and enjoying photography! She has been certified for 11 yrs, licensed in Michigan for 7 yrs and insured with Amta!
