What’s your favorite thing about yourself? Positive self-talk or affirming thoughts boost mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Practicing it regularly can be life-changing. Take a few minutes to identify the things you like best about yourself. Write them down. Keep the list somewhere you’ll see it frequently, like taped to the inside of your medicine cabinet, and re-read it regularly.

What is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)? ERP is used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). People are gradually exposed to their fears while being helped to resist the urge to perform compulsive behaviors. The goal is to break the cycle where anxiety about an obsession is temporarily relieved by a compulsion. If ERP may be right for you, call to schedule an appointment with one of our trained therapists — 517-258-0026.
