The other day, the Activity Department had the opportunity to learn more about our residents. They did an "All About You" craft, where our residents shared their likes and dislikes, and staff created a poster board.
Getting to know patients personally is a key element of patient-centered care and offers numerous benefits, from increased patient engagement to improved health outcomes. Building this rapport creates a meaningful connection that fosters trust, enhances well-being, and empowers patients to be active participants in their own care.
