We had SO MUCH fun at our Halloween Open House this weekend and are blown away by how many adorably costumed kiddos joined us for some spooky fun! Pretty sure this needs to become an annual Rooted tradition. 🎃

🎃 Make-your-own Halloween slime

We are so excited to welcome SIX fabulous grad-level interns to Rooted this year. Our interns have extensive training and supervision allowing them to provide excellent clinical services with financial accessibility for all. Sessions with an intern are $25 or lower with current in-person and telehealth openings for kids, teens, and adults!

Deeply saddened by the racist, homophobic and xenophobic vandalism targeting Old Town businesses intended to provoke fear and stir hate.

Old Town is a neighborhood open and welcoming to all. With a heart for folks on the margins, we’ve proudly called Old Town a Rooted Counseling home in one form or another for almost eight years.

Standing with and for our neighbors and firmly against white supremacy and bigotry in all it’s forms.

Hate has no home here.

Quick reminder that we have our new, FREE, in-person support group for LGBTQIA+ teens (13-18) starting THIS Tuesday July 15th! This group will be run by Ashley Jones, LLMSW out of our East Lansing office. It’s open to any teens in the community, not just Rooted clients.
