Ember, our little fire baby 🔥, made her way earthside September 16th. Everyone is happy and healthy. She is our new favorite tiny obsession 😍

We are going to take time as a family to bond and snuggle, so social posts will likely be limited. I'll start seeing clients again somewhat soon!

I can finally be the outdoorsy fit Prego I thought I would be all summer 😅🤦🏼‍♀️

Lil Nug has officially dropped, so the real waiting game has begun 🫣 I'm not over analyzing every single sensation, are you?!

As I have classically been terrible with social posts, I am not likely to be posting any super great content in the next few months while I figure out motherhood and the accompanying exhaustion. But, I will likely start picking up 1:1 clients again before the end of the year. Feel free to DM or email me with any concerns!

What is dry needling, and how can it help you?!

Dry needling uses a verrrrryyy thin needle that reaches the muscle belly (goes deeper than acupuncture) and hooks up to some gentle electrical stimulation to help address muscular dysfunction. So, it can take a wimpy and lazy muscle (i.e. flat glutes after pregnancy) to help wake them up and get better activation, and it can take overactive/tight/painful muscles and get them to relax (helloooo guarding muscles after surgery/childbirth/life stress). Basically needling can act like Ctrl+Alt+Delete for your muscles to reset. Additionally, it has wonderful effects by chatting with the nerves at a better proximity, calming down pain channels.

GLPR is now offering dry needling, which can be included as part of your regular visit package, or can exist on its own (once you have been evaluated and deemed that this would be a helpful intervention).

Hey friends! I made another online program! This mini program is aimed at helping people address their hip pain. This may be from repetitive microtraumas like running, weakness or chronic pain like with joint hypermobility, and/or from hip impingement or labral tears.

Some of you may remember my hip injury from several years ago... This program has some of the same rehab techniques I used myself, but ramped up since I have taken a few extra courses. This knowledge helped me prevent another big hip injury from occurring last year when I was training for the marathon.
