How did we get here? Michigan State University’s Department of Surgery opened the MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center on July 18th, 2016, bringing together our team of MSU board-certified, fellowship-trained vascular surgeons, and the area’s most experienced medical aestheticians, permanent cosmetic specialist, and cosmetic injector. What started out as a small team collaborating to lay the foundation of the practice over 20 years ago (10 years prior to partnering with MSU), has grown into an established group of hard-working and passionate individuals who are driven to provide the safest and most effective treatment methods in the aesthetics industry. MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center offers a wide-range of services including laser skin resurfacing, BroadBand Light, MORPHEUS 8 radiofrequency microneedling, TRITON dual wavelength laser hair reduction, permanent cosmetics, injectables, medical-grade skincare products, and more! We harness the most advanced laser technology through Sciton to offer the broadest range of light and energy-based treatments available, including HALO, MOXI, and BBL. As a Sciton Distinguished Partner and Dual Joule Elite Provider, we are proud to be among the top performing practices by volume of treatments. Our practice performs thousands of Sciton light and laser-based treatments per year and is recognized as one of the most knowledgeable and experienced laser centers in the state of Michigan. Our practice is inspected annually by MSU’s Laser Safety Officer, conveniently located here on campus, to ensure that our practice, as well as our machines, are running safely, effectively, and up to code. In addition, our medical aestheticians are trained and re-certified annually on laser safety and handling through the university. At MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center we offer customized treatment plans including medical-grade, home-care regimens. Using knowledge that we acquired by annually attending over 300 hours of in-person training and unlimited online continuing education opportunities, we ensure that you not only reach your goals faster, but you will achieve long-lasting, visible results. Our experts, with over 100 years of combined experience in medical aesthetics, are here to guide you through your journey. We can’t wait to meet you and get started! Where are we located? Abby has her bachelor’s degree in Health Administration with a focus on Long-Term Care. Abby enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her 2 children.

Amy has been working in the aesthetics industry since 2009, bringing experience from aesthetic dermatology and cosmetic surgery centers. Amy helped shape the medical aesthetics practice founded by Dr. Marcy Street, dermatologist, Mohs surgeon, and medical director of Doctor's Approach Dermatology and Med Spa Laser Center in Okemos, MI.

After taking a break from the industry to raise her two young children, Amy joined the MSU Department of Surgery team in April 2023.

Our Story

Michigan State University’s Department of Surgery opened the MSU Aesthetic & Laser Treatment Center on July 18th, 2016. This clinic brings together Michigan State University board-certified Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons, Lansing's best Medical Aestheticians and Permanent Cosmetic Specialist in one clinic conveniently located on S Hagadorn Road on the east side of the MSU campus. Our team has partnered to provide the full spectrum of aesthetic procedures from noninvasive services such as Forever Young BBL (TM), HydraFacial (TM), SkinPen Microneedling (TM), and Halo (TM) laser skin resurfacing to Botox, Fillers, permanent cosmetics and more. Our surgeons and staff can also provide expert consultation regarding the full spectrum of cosmetic body contouring and surgical treatments for facial aging.
