“With a compassionate heart and a deep understanding of the intricate journey of grief, I am a dedicated grief counselor with a blend of personal and professional expertise. I hold a Master of Social Work from Spring Arbor University, specializing in grief and loss. My career, spanning over 5 years, has been committed to providing empathetic support and guidance to individuals of all ages grappling with the complexities of bereavement.
My professional path began at Ele’s Place, where I worked closely with adolescents and their families, helping them navigate the challenging waters of loss and emotional upheaval. This experience laid the foundation for my profound interest in grief counseling. I then transitioned into hospice care, focusing on anticipatory grief, where I developed a keen understanding of the unique needs of individuals and families facing the imminent loss of a loved one.
For the past three years, I have served as a Bereavement Coordinator for a local hospice agency. In this role, I have honed my skills in providing tailored support, creating meaningful programs, and facilitating healing spaces that acknowledge and respect the individuality of each person’s grief journey.
My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and deep commitment to walking alongside those in mourning, offering a guiding light through one of life’s most challenging experiences.”
