Alys supports kids and teens struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, identity development, and big life transitions. She partners closely with caregivers, offering guidance and tools to navigate challenges together.

LiFT: A Two-Day Community Retreat for Youth and Supportive Adults

🗓️ Dates: Thursday, November 13 & Friday, November 14
🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM (both evenings)

LiFT is a free, 6-hour interactive retreat designed to connect young people (ages 13–24) with the supportive adults in their lives through meaningful, values-based dialogue.

Rather than teaching participants what their values should be, LiFT helps families and mentors clarify their own values and strengthen communication skills that foster openness and trust at home.

💬 Participants will:

Build communication tools for honest, respectful conversations

Explore shared and individual values

Strengthen youth–adult relationships

On today I just wanted to affirm my Black, Brown, and Ally colleagues by saying
“We are Survivors because We Come from Survivors.” We’ve survived our land being stripped from us, we’ve survived enslavement, we’ve survived genocide. We will survive and thrive because it’s in our DNA!!!

We can’t turn around because the legacy of resilience is woven into our histories and our hearts. We have faced unimaginable trials and still risen with strength and dignity. Today, let’s stand tall and continue to uplift one another, knowing that our shared journey is paved with courage, faith, and hope. No matter the challenges ahead, remember that together, we will continue to rise, grow, and create a future worthy of our ancestors’ dreams. We are unstoppable, and we move forward by faith. So I create this infographics with the hope it will keep us encouraged and remind us who we are… feel free to share.
