A year ago, everything changed for our family.
What started as what we thought was a simple case of pneumonia turned into something that just wouldn’t go away. Weeks passed, then months. We watched our son struggle in ways no child should have to—low energy, not feeling like himself, painful joints, needing an inhaler, and searching for answers that never seemed to help.
Eventually, we learned there was more beneath the surface because it was Lyme disease and mold exposure he was dealing with. Two things we never expected, and honestly, never fully understood until we were living it.
This journey has been exhausting, emotional, and at times overwhelming—but it has also opened our eyes. We’ve learned how complex healing can be, how important it is to listen to your body, and how critical it is to advocate for the people you love.
At ThrIV, this experience has changed the way we see everything. It’s not just about wellness—it’s about supporting the body, understanding the root cause, and helping families feel seen, heard, and cared for when they need it most.
May is Lyme Disease Awareness Month, and we share this not for sympathy—but for awareness. If something doesn’t feel right, keep asking questions. Keep searching. Trust your instincts.
Because sometimes, the answer is deeper than it first appears—and healing starts when you don’t give up.
