East Village Place hosted a Holiday Basket raffle to raise funds for Watermark for Kids, a nonprofit organization committed to empowering underserved kids to express their character, leadership, creativity, compassion, and spirit – to express their true selves and thrive.

Together, we raised $931.75 which will go toward helping a family purchase a wheelchair van for their child in need.

We are honored to be part of such a generous community. Thank you to all who supported our fundraiser efforts!

The Kids Place parents and children generously donated holiday gifts for everyone at East Village Place. These were distributed on Christmas Eve by Santa and his elf. All recipients were pleasantly surprised by the gifts and very thankful. Thank you Kids Place for making our holidays bright!

A Professional Networking, Ugly Sweater party was hosted by East Village Place. Derek Bridges entertained, while guests enjoyed delicious appetizers, candy cane golf and fun. Ugly sweater ornaments were distributed and an ugly sweater contest was held. The winners were a duo that included Liz Davila of Kind Hands Care at Home and Kimberly O'Connor of Brookhaven Hospice, they received a $100 gift card.

‘Tis the season to spread some holiday cheer! East Village Place was delighted to have a group of talented Cub Scout carolers visit us. They also shared some skits they have been working on. The festive tunes instantly put us in the holiday spirit! Join us in embracing the magic of this wonderful time of the year. We promise you won't want to miss out on the merriment!

Santa Claus made a list, checked it twice, and decided he just had to come to visit us at East Village Place! He brought Mrs. Claus,smiles and cheer to everyone around! They handed out candy treats during our Resident and Family party. Dave Colucci performed and the food was fabulous! A wonderful time was had by all. Plus, it was great to hear we were on the nice list once again. 🧑‍🎄

Looking for some holiday crafting inspiration? Look no further than the talented residents at East Village Place! Their crafting skills are top-notch, and their holiday crafts are simply marvelous. We made paper bag snowflakes. They were very easy and come out so beautifully.

We all worked together on constructing a gingerbread house with all sorts of candy and fruity cereal. Of course we had to sample the treats along the way! Our house turned out wonderfully and is now decorating our neighborhood.

The All Nation Church of God came last evening to sing carols for more than 38 of us! They were wonderful and we sang along to all the songs. Some of our CNA's belong to the church and
Annetta, second from the left sings in the choir! It was a fantastic program and we hope they will come back again to sing for us.

Tara came to East Village Place with her drums to entertain and involve us in Reggae Christmas music. Everyone had a drum and we played along with the music and were treated to Tara and CNA, Annetta Webley dancing to a Jamaican beat.

East Village Place is getting into the holiday spirit, decorating trees and putting out the Christmas village, while Christmas music is playing in the background.

The Artistic Dance Conservatory came to East Village Place and put on a fantastic show. There were girls aged ten through eighteen performing. They were wonderful and it certainly showed how hard they worked in practice to get all the moves done perfectly. We look forward to having them return again in the future!

Our annual Holiday Basket Raffle to benefit Watermark for Kids is well under way. Please help us provide financial, physical, social and emotional support to a local child by supporting our raffle this year. Tickets can be purchased at the reception desk 1 for $2 and 3 for $5. The drawing will be held on December 23rd at 1PM. Good Luck and thank you!
