Jessica Dogali Mental Health Counseling, PC is hiring multiple clinicians. Flexibility hours and days and ability to create your own schedule. Both in person and remote positions available for immediate hire.

Applicants must be a MHC or LMHC. Clinical supervision will be provided towards licensure and for all clinicians. Jessica Dogali, LMHC-D, has her diagnostic privilege and will be able to provide supervision under this credential as well.

We are a busy group practice located in East Meadow, NY and work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We have been voted Best Psychotherapy Practice and Best Marriage Counselor in the Long Island Best of Bethpage Awards for the last 5 years and have been fortunate to have won both titles.

Boundaries set the standard for how we want to be treated. They help us to define what we will and will not tolerate, and what our needs and limits are. They assist us in deepening our sense of self by allowing us to gain a better understanding of who we are and what we stand for. Boundaries a great way to build self-love and self-respect, and help us form healthy relationships.

Many of us have been conditioned to be ‘nice’ and to not cause issues, so may feel uncomfortable, mean or rude setting boundaries - saying ‘no’ or directly asking for what we need and want.

However, when we live our lives without appropriate boundaries this can lead to feelings of anger, resentment, overwhelm and burnout.

It is our responsibility to identify and set these limits. It is okay if you currently do not know your boundaries, it is okay to find it scary or difficult to set them. It is a growth experience, it gets easier and it paves the path to create open and loving relationships. Be kind to yourself in the process.

Remember our boundaries are unique to us and although I have shared some examples in this post, it is important to reflect on what feels right for you personally.

Stress is that nagging feeling that deadlines, responsibilities, and pressures are mounting, like a storm brewing on the horizon. It's manageable, often motivating, and with the right strategies, you can weather it.

Burnout, on the other hand, is like being caught in a perpetual hurricane. It's the culmination of prolonged stress, draining your energy, enthusiasm, and even your sense of purpose.

It's crucial to distinguish between the two, to recognize when it's time to seek help, rest, and prioritize self-care. Your well-being is worth more than any to-do list.
