NUMC’s Healthcare Heroes made their voice heard at the Capitol yesterday. Alongside NUMC President & CEO Megan Ryan, State Senator Steven Rhoads, Assembly Members Ed Ra, John Mikulin, Ari Brown, Michael Durso our employees made it clear they want local control of our local hospital. NUMC’s staff is strongly opposed Governor Hochul’s hostile takeover of Nassau University Medical Center because it will hurt patients care, cost jobs and create a healthcare crisis in Nassau County.
