In case you haven’t heard, we are thrilled to announce that we will be adding a second location, coming in late spring!

Urban Balance Therapy – Growing Minds will be a dedicated space for children ages 3 through high school. With the continued need for pediatric mental health/behavioral health care, we are excited to create an environment designed specifically to support our younger clients.

Our current office will continue serving high school–aged clients through adulthood, allowing us to better meet the needs of all individuals we serve.

We’re excited to expand our presence in downtown East Moline. The new location will be just a couple of blocks south of our current office and is currently undergoing a complete renovation—stay tuned for the big reveal! Below is a sneak peak of the waiting area.

While you’re in the area, be sure to check out the new Main Street streetscaping in front of our current building. It’s already looking great, and we’re looking forward to the addition of spring plantings as the weather continues to improve.

Check out this opportunity at our local public library.

🎓 We now have weekly Career and College Counseling at the library! Stop by the 2nd level study tables to meet with a counselor for free on Thursdays from 3-5pm. Please bring a laptop if you have one. The library also has laptops available to check out with a library card or picture ID.

Exciting progress happening right outside our doors! 🚧

The road and streetscaping construction is moving along, and we’re already seeing such a positive transformation in the area. We’re grateful for the continued effort to improve our community and can’t wait to enjoy the finished results.

✨ Exciting Updates at Urban Balance Therapy & Consulting – Growing Minds! ✨

We are so excited to share that work on our new building is moving along!

This new space will become the home for our children, adolescents, and teen (pediatric) services.

Our current location will continue serving our adult clients, allowing us to better meet the unique needs of each age group in spaces created just for them.

Transformation is at the heart of the work we do.

We’re excited to share that we’ve purchased a second building downtown in the City of East Moline that will soon be reimagined—at the same time our downtown is experiencing its own transformation. This feels especially meaningful to us. Just as individuals grow and heal, communities do too.

This location will become the hub for all of our child, adolescent, and teen services—a space intentionally designed to support growth, safety, and connection for young people and their families.

Creating a space that reflects hope, balance, and care is an important step in our journey, and we’re grateful to be rooted in a downtown that’s evolving right alongside us.
More to come—we can’t wait to share the process. 🌱
