Most people think their eating habits are the problem…
but it’s usually something deeper.
After 19 years as a Registered Dietitian, here’s what I can tell you:
Most eating patterns have nothing to do with willpower.
They have everything to do with your nervous system, your stress load, and whether your body feels safe enough to communicate honestly with you.
Conscious Eating isn’t a diet — it’s a relationship.
It sounds like this:
• “What does my body actually need right now?”
• “Is this hunger… or stress?”
• “Is this craving… or comfort?”
• “What feeling am I trying to avoid?”
• “What would support me, not punish me?”
When the energy behind your choices shifts, the choices themselves shift — naturally.
Not from restriction.
Not from guilt.
But from listening.
Your body is always speaking.
Conscious Eating is simply learning the language.
