Brueggemann Funeral Home

Brueggemann Funeral Home We've been caring for our community with uncompromising service and compassion, since 1961.

Hours shown above are office-hours only, visitation services, dates, and times can be found on the funeral home website. In 1961 the Brueggemann Funeral Home opened to serve the East Northport community. We are privileged to have built a tradition of trust with the over 10,000 families we’ve served since. Outside of the funeral home our Funeral Directors are leaders in the industry who are establi

shed and involved members of the community. Inside, our three chapels are welcoming, brightly lit, professionally decorated, and designed to accommodate all types of services and memorials from larger celebrations to smaller more intimate gatherings. Combined, we provide an unmatched modern service with traditional dignity.

Behind every service is a team that understands how much each moment matters and a place designed to support families through it with care, intention, and quiet attention to detail.

For generations, families in East Northport have trusted us not just to guide them, but to create experiences that feel personal, thoughtful, and true to the life being honored.

Because in the end, it’s the people and the place that shape how we remember.

Many thanks to the Northport Historical Society and Museum for the honor of their Heritage award! It’s been our privilege and sacred duty to be a place where families and friends gather to remember what - and who - make our community so great.

It’s true, our roots grow deep in Northport, and the remnants of the once venerated Taylor Funeral Home still stand at the base of Scudder Avenue. That early expansion brought us to Larkfield Road which has been our home since 1961.

It was a privilege to be recognized by the Northport Historical Society and Museum and an honor to host their board members as they presented us with the Heritage Award to help us commemorate 65 years of service to the Northport-East Northport community.
