Do we need to let go to grow? How do we find new space in a practice that we continue to do the same thing repeatedly?
Even though yoga postures are the same, daily life is always different. The pose you took yesterday may not feel or look the same as today. Learning how to create and find new space and awareness within that moment is where the practice takes a new step.
Always observing and adjusting.
Observing what the stillness feels like between each intentional movement is precisely where I believe your practice begins and where healing occurs. It is also where you can extend the practice from your mat into your daily life with that same practice of observing and adjusting.

Yoga is not necessarily about how far you can take your body; physical movement alone is unimportant, but how far you expand your full connection of mind and body as one unit is essential. 𖦹 ☯︎

No one expects the police to knock on the million-dollar, two-story home of the perfect cul-de-sac housewife. But soccer mom Lara Love Hardin has been hiding a shady secret: she is funding her he**in addiction by stealing her neighbors’ credit cards. The Many Lives of Mama Love is a heartbreaking and tender journey from shame to redemption, despite a system that makes it almost impossible for us to move beyond the worst thing we have ever done.

"Befriending your Anatomy" A twisting and Forward bending workshop
Sunday 4/30 2:00-4:00pm -$40

Have you ever been in class and felt you weren’t strong enough or flexible enough to do a pose? Think again! It could simply be your anatomy! Desikachar, author of The Heart of Yoga and master of Vinyasa /Hatha Yoga said: “Yoga should conform to the individual, the individual should not need to conform to the yoga”

In this workshop, we’ll explore the unique beauty of human anatomy through a thoughtful vinyasa sequence of twisting and forward bending postures concluding with meditation. “Vinyasa” is a purposeful step by step approach, with the intention of helping us see more clearly, what step needs to be taken and when it’s appropriate to take it. This 2 hour workshop is appropriate for all levels.

More info on Jodie. She has studied with many teachers including Rodney Yee, Genny Kapuler, and Ana Forrest, Lisa Walford, Eric Schifmann & Shiva Rea. Jodie has received several 200 & 300 hr certifications by Alan Finger in the ISHTA lineage, Alison West of Yoga Union and Yoga Works. She currently led both the 200 and 300hr Teacher Training programs for Yoga Works from 2004-2021 worldwide.

Himalayan singing bowls are played around and placed on your body , tuning forks also placed on body (if wanted) absorbing the ripples of the sound which resonate through their body’s energy field.

Instruments like gongs, shamanic drum and Himalayan singing bowls will be used to create a deep full-body meditative state to enhance ones health and alleviate body, mind and emotional stress.Traditional Himalayan singing bowls being used are made from 7 metals.
They consist of a combination of silver, gold, mercury, copper, lead, iron, & tin.
The sacred metals are aligned with the 7 creative planets & the 7 chakras.Deep relaxation is the major benefit of sound healing. It is followed by its deep energetic massage, caused by sound vibrations that open, clear and balance ones chakras, while getting rid of negative energy.Sound therapy supports ones physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, leaving you balanced and refreshed.
