Employee in the Spotlight: Kiaya M.!

Kiaya is a key part of the Loft of East Peoria team!
Employed since May 2024, she shines as a dedicated C.N.A. and also steps up as our backup Van Driver, making sure everyone gets where they need to go safely and happily.

With a love for caregiving that's been shining since January 2017, Kiaya brings energy, kindness, and a positive vibe to everything she does.

Thanks for all your hard work and bright spirit, Kiaya! You're truly a star in our Loft family!

St. Jude Run 🎉

Valerie T., our awesome A.D.O.N. from the St. Jude Riders, cheerfully accompanied the Washington to Peoria Run, escorting the brave runners along the way! 🚶‍♀️ Christy D., the D.O.N., and Isabelle H., the friendly Receptionist, joined the fun, running side by side with family and friends. The energy and support from residents, staff, and families were absolutely inspiring—what an incredible community coming together for a great cause! ❤️🙌🎽

CNA Week Day 3 at The Loft of East Peoria was full of fun! Staff dressed in sports gear, enjoyed a tasty cookout, and let their inner kid come out by riding tricycles through the halls and outside in the rain. Great smiles, good vibes, and lots of laughter—celebrating our amazing CNAs!

Yesterday, we had such a blast at The Loft of East Peoria! 🎉 The staff dressed up as different games, making everything super fun and playful. We enjoyed a tasty chip and dip bar, and the highlight was definitely the scavenger hunt—everyone was chasing clues and had a great time! 🕵️‍♂️🏆 Plus, there were prizes to be won! Thanks to everyone who came out and made it such a fun day! Can’t wait for the next one! 😊🎉

🎮 Game Board Day – Roll the dice and play! Join in for board games, fun competitions, and friendly rivalry.

Last month, Health Care Council of Illinois - HCCI recognized our Director of Nursing, Christy Delaware, as a Long-Term Care Hero! We are fortunate enough to get to see her heroism with our patients, their families, and our staff every day. It was such a nice ceremony for her and we are grateful for all that she does every day. Big thanks to the Health Care Council of Illinois - HCCI and our team for making this day so special for someone so deserving! Congratulations again and great job, Christy!

Day 3 we enjoyed taking a vacation to many fun places. We had snowy mountains, a beach, cruise ship, safari, and camping!! The Residents, Staff and Family members had fun enjoying some games and lots of yummy food!! A big thank you to John S. from Charter Senior Living of Washington for providing the hotdogs and buns!

This week is about bringing people together. Yesterday we did a reception party. There was live music, dancing and of course food!! The Residents, Family Members and Staff enjoyed the event!! Even some Staff wore their actual wedding dress 💗
