Immerse will be going through a transition phase over the next few weeks with Dr Dinse (Dinse Dental) graciously offering to purchase Immerse. Even though this time of transition has been difficult, I will say that I am excited and grateful to Dr Dinse for capturing our vision and purpose for Immerse.

2020 sure has allowed us to experience and learn flexibility!

Thank-you once again for your grace and patience as we finalize details with this transition and as Dr Dinse gets things put in place over the next few weeks.

With this change, we will now plan to hold yoga at The Colebrook Barn (1629 South Colebrook Rd) only through the end of October with the possibility of yoga and massage continuing at Immerse after that.

Yoga classes at The Colebrook Barn will remain by donation. These classes will be scheduled and managed by the yoga instructor so please contact Tammy directly with your attendance and questions as we will no longer be using the scheduling app. (Tammy Snyder, 717-466-3028 or tammy@welkeptbooks.com)

FOR: Moms that are ready for a PAUSE 😊⁣

WHAT: Spend 20 minutes EACH with:⁣

𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧, health coach 🌱- Anne will share recipes with you that are easy and quick to prepare. 🥑🍎🥦 She will also explain the importance of mindful eating and complete your time with a calming breathing technique that you can use at anytime.⁣

𝐓𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐲 𝐒𝐧𝐲𝐝𝐞𝐫, yoga instructor 🧘‍♀️- Tammy will teach you simple, accessible poses that will lengthen and stretch your muscles 💪🦵🏼in a safe and effective way. Target areas in our hips, hamstrings, and upper back tend to be tight or sore. They can also be storage areas for stress and tension.⁣

𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝗪𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐫, licensed massage therapist - You will receive a 20 minute chair massage 👍 from Courtney, using compression focusing on neck, shoulders, and lower back. Client will stay clothed during the chair massage. You only need to show up and RELAX! 💆🏻‍♀️⁣

COST: $75 for 90 minutes!!⁣

Slots will be booked every 30 minutes, from 11:00AM - 2:30PM.⁣

We do have a waiting area and a library where you are welcome to relax and allow yourself some additional quiet time.⁣
IonCleanse Foot Bath Detox and/or BEMER sessions will also be available during this time.⁣

“I would like to start practicing yoga, but I don’t know where to start.”⁣

“Do you offer a yoga class for beginners?”⁣

“What do I need to wear?”⁣

“I’m intimidated to practice with experienced yogis.”⁣

These are the questions that I frequently receive and here is my response 😊...⁣

“It’s a good possibility that what we offer at Immerse is for you! 👍 While we accommodate all levels of yogi’s, we do cater to beginners, with the intent to take the scary and unknown out of a yoga practice.⁣
When you arrive for your first class, just let the instructor know that you are new to yoga and she will help you with modifications as needed.”⁣

Classes are customized so that they are suitable for any level student. Everyone, no matter the age, shape, size, or disability can do some type of yoga. You do not need to change up your wardrobe to start yoga! Simply grab some comfortable, loose fitting clothes and head on over to join us.⁣

Indoor classes at Immerse are currently limited to six attendees.⁣
* Monday evening @ 5:30pm⁣
* Tuesday morning @ 9:30am⁣

Outdoor classes are held at 1629 South Colebrook Rd, Manheim PA 17545:⁣

Berry Smoothie🍓🍌🥬🌰

Handful of frozen blueberries
3 frozen strawberries
Half a frozen banana
Handful fresh spinach
1 tbls almond butter
Splash of coconut almond milk

Juanita is our sole owner of Immerse and a compassionate health coach. She has a large family she cooks for regularly so easy and healthy is her game! She keeps these energy balls stocked for the staff at Immerse in our fridge and we love them between clients and yoga🙌

Energy Bites🥥🥜🌰
1 cup (dry) oatmeal (old-fashioned oats)
2/3 cup toasted coconut flakes
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 ground flax seed
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup honey (I use less!)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon vanilla

Stir all ingredients together thoroughly. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes. Once chilled, roll into balls and store in a tight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Tips: I use a coffee grinder to grind the flax seed fresh since ground flax seed can quickly turn rancid.
Use a small cookie dough scoop to form the balls. 😊

Tammy enjoys these healthy cookies for a special treat. She is one of our Yoga teachers as well as our numbers and software queen at Immerse. These cookies are an easy and quick sweet treat for anytime!

Almond Flour Cookies
🍪🥥🍪🥥🍪🥥🍪🥥

2 C Almond Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
6 Tbls. Raw Honey
4 tsp Coconut Oil
2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Optional add ins; chocolate chips, coconut flakes, oats

Mix together, can add more honey or flour if needed to form 1in balls.
Bake at 350° for 8-10 mins
Let cool 5 mins on baking sheet, cookies will be fragile.

Sara's Smoothie Bowl🍓🍌🥬
1 cup Your choice of frozen fruit (raspberries pictured)
1/2 Banana
1 cup of spinach
3 tbsp of h**p seeds

High-quality sleep is vital for both healing and sustained wellness. Deep sleep promotes healing, cleansing, and building the immune system!

Sleep Tip #1:
Follow the circadian rhythm as much as possible! Your normal circadian cycle is set by the cycle of light and dark. In other words, go to bed when it’s dark and get up when the sun rises.

I respect the fact that some of you work night shift. You will also always hear me say in functional medicine, there are no cookie cutters. What works for one person may not work for another! We are all each our own unique individual with many varied factors determining the outcome we are experiencing!

The sunshine also helps to wake us up and assists our body in then being ready to unwind at the end of the day.
Vitamin D plays a huge role in building our immune system. Expose your skin to the sunlight, without sunscreen to fully absorb the Vitamin D.

As it gets dark outside, allow your body some time to relax and unwind, to calm the nervous system before heading to bed.
