We want to show you some of the faces behind patient care at CPCC.

Joymae Alanano is the friendly voice behind many of your phone calls. As our Healthcare Virtual Assistant, Joymae plays a key role in ensuring you receive the care and attention you need.

Joymae values connecting with patients from all backgrounds and working alongside a kind, supportive team. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, painting, spending time outdoors - and caring for her beloved cats, a meaningful gift from her father before he passed away.

Help us thank Joymae for all she does to support our patients and providers.

Love was in the air - until it wasn’t!

This majestic peacock stopped traffic (literally) in our back parking lot, showing off for a passing female…who had other plans.

Watch the drama unfold.

Did you know that even if you quit smoking, you still have to screen for lung cancer each year?

Screening is done with a CT scan, a simple test that can detect lung cancer early to give you a greater chance of survival. Insurance covers it for most people who meet the criteria.

If you have trouble quitting, consider a smoking cessation program such as the one we offer. And whether you are a current or past smoker, talk to your doctor about whether you should get an annual lung screening.

During Lung Cancer Awareness Month in November, we encourage you to pay attention to your risk level and heed your doctor's advice to get screened.

To make an appointment with Dr. Orjioke, go to our website or call 404.254.5388.
