Dr. Ben Reebs is a licensed naturopathic doctor with prescription rights in the state of Oregon. He graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor’s degree in linguistics, and went on to earn his N.D. from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM), a four-year accredited naturopathic medical school in Portland, OR where he received his clinical training. His journey began wit

h an off-the-grid lifestyle, pumping all of his water by-hand in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. He learned to make bread at the age of six, and always had deep interests in nutrition and cooking, health, wellness, and spirituality. at the local hospital, both of his parents were licensed massage therapists (L.M.T.'s), and his great uncle was a family practice M.D. Later he studied mind-body medicine with many prominent teachers, thinkers, and healers at The Esalen Institute, a world famous retreat center, in Big Sur, California, where he lived and worked as a work-study student and head cook in the kitchen. Part of his inspiration to become a physician occurred during a close friend’s struggle with chronic disease, a journey through which he experienced the incredible impact of traditional Naturopathic medicine on a person’s healing. When Dr. Reebs learned first-hand of the body’s incredible ability to heal itself, after a year of researching medicine he returned to school to become a naturopathic doctor. One of his strongest assets is his ability to listen to the stories of his patients and offer a safe place for them to express themselves. Using traditional modalities of naturopathic medicine, such as clinical homeopathy, nutrition, mineral analysis, food intolerance testing, constitutional hydrotherapy, physical medicine, and hypnotherapy, Dr. Reebs helps his patients restore and optimize their health and vitality as well as prevent disease. He uses individualized treatment plans to treat arthritis, diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease and many other common conditions.
