To our patients,
We want to keep you updated about the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19 (also known as Coronavirus) and what we are doing as a healing center to keep you healthy and keep you protected. As you are likely aware this virus is spreading fast, and often our only defense is to stay home, wash our hands regularly and stock up on immune support. We know that Washington and Oregon state have mandated the closure of bars, restaurants and other establishments that serve large populations. For the time being, we hope to continue supporting your health and immune system by continuing to offer the immune-boosting benefits of chiropractic and acupuncture. With an eye for diligence and to reduce risk and exposure, we want to outline some changes that we are making, in hopes that we can continue to serve our community.
We will practice “social distancing” by only scheduling one patient each half-hour for their 15-20 minute appointment, to give us time to do the necessary cleaning before the next patient arrives.
This cleaning will consist of sanitizing all the doorknobs and surfaces that the patient may have touched, as well as all the instruments and tools in the treatment rooms.
The following are the corresponding steps we are asking you, the patient to take:
Please be on time for your appointment, or let us know as soon as you can if you will be late.
If you have any of the known symptoms, like a dry cough with a fever and a sore throat, or if you have been exposed to someone who later developed these symptoms, please stay home, and call us to inform us of the situation.
If you have coronavirus symptoms, and they worsen, please seek medical attention sooner rather than later, especially if you are over 65 years old and have a history of other chronic health issues.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself! Talk with your doctor about the various ways you can support your immune system at home and don’t forget to dose up on Vitamin’s A, D, C, echinacea, and drink lots of water! Coupled with washing your hands frequently and for no less than 20 seconds with soap, avoiding touching your face and practicing social distancing you can help reduce or even eliminate your exposure to COVID-19.
As you are aware, this is an ever-evolving situation and we are committed to serving you best, however that looks. We will keep you informed as we know more and if our current model of care needs to change for the safety of you, your family, or our most vulnerable population. Thank you for understanding and doing your part.
