Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: East Prairie, MO

Shift Type: PRN/Per Diem available!

Aspire Senior Living East Prairie is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to resident-focused care, providing the highest quality personal care services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

Assess referred patients and provide direct patient care to evaluate their medical condition, functional capabilities, and potential for rehabilitation

Establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals, under the direction of the Physician

Document and record patients' conditions, and educate patients and families on therapy methods

Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered treatment and care

Perform evaluations, weekly progress notes, recertification, and discharge documentation

Follow up on all assigned duties by the Director of Rehabilitation

Ensure compliance with confidentiality, HIPPA, and Federal Residents' Rights

Qualifications/Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited Speech Therapist college or university

Valid professional license and registration in state of Missouri

Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care preferred
