What Makes Us Unique? We are a Pediatrician & Pediatric Nurse Practitioner owned facility. Melissa Curran, MSN, cPNP is the principal owner and operator of the Bernadette’s Lice Removal Center of Rhode Island. She received her Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degree from Yale University School of Nursing in 1991. Melissa has been practicing pediatrics at East Bay Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine for over 25 years. Additionally, she has been the medical director of an overnight camp for many years where she gained invaluable experience working with lice.

Angela Grenander, MD is an owner and consultant to Bernadette’s Lice Removal Center. She received her medical degree at Brown University and started her own practice of pediatrics at East Bay Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine in 1981.
