A study published today in JAMA reveals that su***de deaths among 15 to 23 year-olds were 11% lower in the years following the launch of 988. The work our call centers are doing every day is making measurable change and we're grateful for our Rhode Island team that answers calls for help every day.

Nearly 4,400 fewer U.S. teens and young adults died by su***de than projected in the first two-and-a-half years of the 988 mental health crisis hotline.
