Thanks to a generous grant from the American Parkinson Disease Association: Rhode Island Chapter, the Aldersbridge Physical Therapy & Wellness Center is offering a FREE 12-week Parkinson’s Exercise Program.

The program focuses on enhancing vocal quality and projection as well as incorporating large-amplitude movements to help reduce fall risk and improve motor function.

Classes are led by a certified LSVT LOUD Speech Therapist and a certified LSVT BIG Occupational Therapist.

The program will be held in person and is limited to 10 participants. While space is still available, interested individuals or family members should reach out by phone or email to confirm enrollment.

🌟 Exciting News from Aldersbridge Physical Therapy & Wellness Center! 🌟

We are thrilled to announce the launch of LOUD & Limitless — a FREE 12-week Parkinson’s exercise program made possible through a generous grant from the American Parkinson Disease Association: Rhode Island Chapter.

This innovative program combines evidence-based techniques focusing on:
✅ Improving vocal quality and projection
✅ Promoting large, purposeful movements to reduce fall risk and enhance mobility
✅ Building confidence and connection within our Parkinson’s community

Classes are led by a certified LSVT LOUD Speech Therapist and a certified LSVT BIG Occupational Therapist. Space is limited to 10 participants, and we are excited to welcome individuals who are ready to move, speak, and live LOUD & Limitless.

We are excited to share that Aldersbridge Physical Therapy & Wellness Center will once again be supporting the APDA Optimism Walk on Saturday, September 27th, 2025 at Warwick City Park, Stephen O’Connor Blvd in Warwick, RI. This will be our third consecutive year walking together to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease.

We’d love for you to join our walking team this year! Our fundraising goal is $1,500 as a team, and there are several ways you can participate:

Walk with us on September 27th.

Create a fundraising profile to share with family and friends via social media or email.

Make a donation – even if you can’t attend, every contribution helps support this wonderful cause.

This fundraiser is especially meaningful to us because the APDA Rhode Island Chapter recently awarded us a grant that made it possible to host our 12-week “LOUD & Limitless” Parkinson’s exercise program, blending components of both LSVT BIG and LOUD. This program has given our community members living with Parkinson’s a chance to build strength, confidence, and connection – and it’s only possible thanks to the APDA’s support.

We are grateful for this partnership and want to give back by showing up strong at the Optimism Walk. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of people living with Parkinson’s and their families.

Congratulations to Arbor Hill Assisted Living Community resident Joann on being presented with her ElderVentures wish for three tickets to WWE Raw! She was very surprised, especially since it was presented by former WWE wrestlers who arranged for her to get a phone call from John Cena's dad to congratulate her. Way to go to Aldersbridge Communities' ElderVentures program!!! You and the donors who fund this awesome program made Joann's day!
