We had an amazing clay workshop today with our incredible friends from Brown University! We loved working with the clay, feeling the smooth, cool texture in our hands and watching something beautiful take shape from a simple piece of clay! Art brings people together and reminds us of the simple joy of creating something with our own two hands. It was so much fun creating beautiful pieces we brought to life today. The best experiences are the ones where you get a little messy!

What a wonderful day! The Hattie Ide Chaffee Home was filled with joy as our new friends from PACE Organization of Rhode Island came to visit! We had a fantastic time painting together, sharing stories, and forming connections. This is the beginning of what we know will be a beautiful friendship in our community. We can’t wait for our next get together!

Happy 100th Birthday, Josie!
What a remarkable milestone, a century of life filled with love, wisdom, and grace. Today we celebrate not just 100 years, but the incredible person and the countless lives that she has touched along the way.
Her beauty radiates from within, shining through her warm heart and gentle spirit. Her humility inspires us all, showing us that true greatness comes from kindness and selflessness. Her patience has been a gift to everyone who knows her, and her generous nature has made the world a brighter place.
What a joy it was to see her surrounded by so many people who love her. Friends and family gathering to honor her with music, laughter, and celebration. Josie’s excitement and joy at seeing all of her loved ones was absolutely radiant, and it is beautiful how deeply she is cherished by everyone who knows her.

Celebrating the completion of a year-long Arts and Health grant project, made possible by Rhode Island State Council on the Arts and the Rhode Island Foundation.

The Art of Sunrise was created with families and children from Smith Hill Library. The Art of Sunset was created with seniors from Hattie Ide Chaffee Home. Community Collaborative artist Cathren Housley brought these two beautiful projects together.

On this special day, Sunrise and Sunset came together to form the Circle of Light. This unique event where generations connected through art and creativity.

🕊️ A beautiful day of art and heart creating shalom doves.
What a wonderful experience we had in our Shalom Doves workshop. We created meaningful art while celebrating the Jewish value of shalom, peace, wholeness, and harmony.
Through the timeless symbol of the dove, we explored what peace meant to each of us while creating something beautiful.
