In a world where people are obsessed with fast cash and beauty the aesthetic industry has fallen to people using illegal products in patients. We are starting to see an uprise in the country of adverse reactions due to counterfeit products. This is why it’s so important to find a licensed practitioner in your state that not only keeps up with frequent education with conferences, cadaver labs and trainings but also has an eye for the art and makes it their life work. As providers we use FDA products that have went through thousands of studies over the years and that I have personally used on me and my family. Unfortunately we are flooded with fake company DMs and emails of cheaper product coming from China and other places to make your profit larger. There are many people taking quick weekend courses than posting on social media they are ready to go and it’s on special. Not that it’s bad to care about budgeting in aesthetics but if a price is too good to be true it can come down to fake product, over dilution and unskilled practitioners. This is something that to be good at you need to devote your life and time too. It is not a side hustle but an art that takes consistency, constant education and ethics. When you own a practice you have to pay for the fda products, supplies, staff, insurance, expensive trainings, marketing, website and everything else it takes to run a business. So when you are asking about how cheap someone is you have to think about the bottom line. It’s all about your health and safety because this is your face and all and you only have one!!
