have you ever gone to a "functional practitioner" who handed you a list of 15 supplements and was basically like "good luck, see you in 3 months"??
because i hear this ALL the time from new clients and honestly it drives me crazy
they come to me exhausted. not just physically exhausted but exhausted from:
- spending hundreds of dollars a month on supplements
- feeling like taking pills is a part time job
not seeing any actual results
- being confused about what they're even taking and why
your body recognizes food. REAL whole food. it knows what to do with an avocado, a sweet potato, some wild caught salmon. but synthetic supplements? your body is like "wait what is this"
don't get me wrong, sometimes supplements have their place. but they should never be the foundation. f
FOOD is the foundation
when i work with clients i teach them how to use food as medicine...how to eat in a way that actually supports their hormones, their energy, their gut health....not just throw a bunch of pills at the problem and hope something sticks.
