The Eagle and the Tides of Change

This morning, I stood at the edge of the ocean and looked up just in time to see an eagle gliding above the waves. (see pic)

She was magnificent, wings wide, steady, effortlessly riding the invisible currents of the wind. There was such grace in her strength. Such power in her stillness.

Below her, the tide was shifting, unpredictable, alive, ever-changing. But she didn’t resist. She adjusted. She trusted the unseen air beneath her to lift her higher.

And as I watched, I felt a quiet knowing rise within me…
We are meant to do the same.

When life moves beneath us, when tides shift, people change, doors close, and new paths appear, our instinct is often to cling tighter, to fight the current, to control what’s moving.

But what if the winds of change are not here to break us, but to carry us? What if our only job is to spread our wings and rise into a higher perspective....like the eagle, seeing the bigger picture, beyond fear, beyond the momentary storm?

Change is rarely comfortable, but it’s always sacred. It’s the soul’s invitation to fly higher.

The ocean moves. The tide shifts.

And still… we rise.

The eagle reminds us to trust the winds of change, they’re not here to destroy us, but to elevate us.

The holidays are still a few months away…
but maybe you already feel that little tug of dread in your chest.
