Emergency Response is a team sport!! 🚓🚑🚒
We recently had a rescue incident involving a vehicle over a steep embankment with a patient inside who was immobile. With the combined efforts of personnel on-scene, a Stokes Basket and a winch on our new Rescue #7, we were able to retrieve the patient and transport to a local ED for evaluation.
Deputy Kohler with Stark County Sheriff's Office kept the scene secure for responders while working in the roadway.

We recently had the honor of transporting a 102 year-old WWII veteran.
A 20 minute transport time wasn't long enough.
If you get the opportunity to hear their stories, take advantage of it!
They truly are the greatest generation. 🇺🇸

We have Cleveland Ave closed with detours to our windy back roads.
It's the first day of school.
*breathe*
And--trash pickup is on Tuesday mornings on Ridge and other local roads.
Plan ahead.
Leave early.

HEADS UP!!
Starting Monday 8/18, Cleveland Ave--just north of Leatherman Drive--will be closed for four days.
We've had much longer closings on this section of road, so we will be inconvenienced for just a few days.
Be careful running our winding backroads. Enjoy the views.
