We recently had the honor of transporting a 102 year-old WWII veteran.
A 20 minute transport time wasn't long enough.
If you get the opportunity to hear their stories, take advantage of it!
They truly are the greatest generation. 🇺🇸

Tomorrow is going to be a challenge.
We have Cleveland Ave closed with detours to our windy back roads.
It's the first day of school.
*breathe*
And--trash pickup is on Tuesday mornings on Ridge and other local roads.
Plan ahead.
Leave early.
Be patient.
Drive safely, folks.

HEADS UP!!
Starting Monday 8/18, Cleveland Ave--just north of Leatherman Drive--will be closed for four days.
We've had much longer closings on this section of road, so we will be inconvenienced for just a few days.
Be careful running our winding backroads. Enjoy the views.

A true Founding Father in the development of EMS.

We are saddened to announce the passing of retired Deputy Chief Jack Liberator. Jack retired from Canton Township in 2019 after serving the department, for 72 years. We will be sharing information on his services as they are finalized in the days ahead.

Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
