I spent my birthday setting the tone for my next year of life. Each decision, each thought, each focus was intentional. It felt like pouring new cement and being careful of what was written in it before it set. It was being grateful, saying yes, supporting myself, asking for what I wanted….all of it. And these few moments in nature were a part of that.

How am I spending the last Friday of this birth year? Cleaning of course! I need to spruce up for all that is coming in. Also, cleaning is a tool for this Virgo so I’m using it!

This weekend we have a lunar eclipse and on the 21st there is a solar eclipse. This time between will serve as one of revelation and transformation. Use all the tools…it will be big energy.

I’m sitting here thinking about how my whole world feels different lately. Portals and shifts and living in the surreal vibes we are all swimming in….it’s a lot. Then I realized I was literally sitting in front of the world itself. Universe is shouting lately lol.

You never really fit into those boxes they tried to put you in. Sure, you made the best of things…but it came with the side effects of anger, sadness, resentment, and frustration. But now you realize there might still be boxes but you can move around them. You can bust out of the old ones and maneuver around the little ones you get to control. You might even line them up in such a way that you can play hopscotch on them. Dance around them. Have fun with the structure, while enjoying the freedom you experience BECAUSE of it. It’s about creating a new system while not being stuck in somebody else’s. Get out the chalk and play!

Summer was no easy task this year. We were working on every level. Now we still have work ahead, don’t get me wrong, BUT the structure and systems of Virgo energy will give up some support.

Healing loss is not for the weak. Several years ago we lost our sweet chocolate lab. She was kind, fun, playful, gentle, and easy. And when she left, a piece of all of us left with her. Some have grieved harder and longer than others. Some of us were afraid to love again. And then you get a rescue who is the complete opposite of all you knew a dog to be. But with that complete opposite, comes a new series of things you get and learn. And the other day this all happened and it gave me hope that some more healing is happening for all of us…pooch included. This little rescue did not have an easy start but we hope she is always learning that it keeps getting better.

Life is a rollercoaster isn’t it? Well the other day I rode one. I took the opportunity to scream out everything that’s been inside of me. And I laughed. And I screamed some more. With abandon.
