The astrology today said to be open to new experiences, to seek adventure, and to travel. And though I did not have to go to an airport or hop on a boat…I did take a trip to the Caribbean. I spent hours at a local restaurant eating and sipping the flavors of far away. The music, the dancing, and the people made it feel like a heartwarming vacation. I’ve been planting some good seeds lately and it’s so nice to see some of them sprouting already!

So we’ve all felt our worlds collapse around us lately, especially with that recent full moon. Now what?!? Well, now we rebuild. Capricorn is asking us to look at our foundations so that we build a beautiful strong structure on top of it. The wrecking ball is hard, the working that comes after is tedious…but it will all be worth it.

It’s been a wild ride these last few weeks! The skies have tumbled us around a bit. Planets are making us feel stuff and the moon is making us purge old ways. It’s been a bit of an earthquake. So as we build this new foundation, be sure to check in on your energy. There have been lots of sessions lately but we are also revisiting grounding and clearing as well as some chakra aligning. I always know from the sessions what we are all working on collectively. Took a little nap this afternoon and woke up to these shadows on my chakra rocks. I think it sums it all up!

The other day I spent time in the hammock. And though I’ve done this before, something felt different. It was if these two trees were holding me…not just physically by supporting the fabric of my hammock, but energetically. It felt like a space to breathe and stretch and release. It felt like the sweetest space of calm and support. Yes we know trees are magical but this time it felt like I heard something from them I hadn’t heard before. This was my view. I can’t wait to be there again.

I have a garden, but I don’t call myself a gardener yet. I’m still at the baby stage of learning so much. I have to constantly check apps to see what certain plants are when I’m pulling weeds. I don’t know the Latin names of my greenery. I don’t understand so many things about the soil, let alone how to amend it. But I keep getting out there. I get dirty. Some of the info is slowly seeping into my knowledge bank…the way a soaker hose gently keeps things hydrated. For every success there is a failure. But I keep going. Eventually I will get to a place where I do know the cycles of every bloom, what to do with my medicinal herbs, and how to prevent certain struggles. Until then…I sweat. I fight. I battle. It’s like every other thing we do. It’s just where I’m choosing to do it RIGHT NOW. And TODAY I caught the lavender at just the right time for what I want to do with it. I moved some hostas from one spot to another. I knew so many more weeds than I ever have. I’m still sweating. I’m literally dripping tears and sweat into the dirt below me as I work. Someday, I’m be a gardener.

Due to the current state of this country, It’s hard to celebrate freedom on the 4th. This year shall be the celebration of “independence”. It’s about being FREE of old limiting beliefs, FREE of broken loops, FREE of guilt and shame from old stories, FREE from toxic people and patterns. We have done so much energy work this past year and I’m so proud and excited for all of you to be free!
