Sue Mertz of the Epic Implementation (EI) team is celebrating 45 years of service, innovation, and leadership at St. Luke's!

Sue’s career began during high school as a part-time file clerk at Allentown Osteopathic Hospital—working alongside her mother, who was a nursing supervisor. Over the years, she worked in leadership roles in health information technology and continues to support the network through her role in EI today.

💬 “Mentoring staff and witnessing their success is the most rewarding part of my career.”

Sue has also proudly represented St. Luke’s at the 2024 Epic XGM (Expert Group Meeting) in Wisconsin, sharing her experience and insights on a national stage.

Earlier this month, Temple/St. Luke’s School of Medicine proudly welcomed its largest class to date. Senior Jayden Wolf's performance last Friday night was the perfect comeback story as he and the Nazareth Area High School Blue Eagles football team celebrated their win in their first game of season. After a complex knee injury ended his 2024 season early, Jayden’s comeback is a true testament to his grit and to the expert care he received from the St. Luke’s Orthopedic Sports Medicine team and Physical Therapy at St. Luke's, who were with him every step of the way. 🏈
