Have you ever wondered how often you should change your running shoes? Well, here’s your answer!

Typically, you need to change your running shoes every 3 to 6 months or every 300 to 500 miles.

Perform the twist test: Hold the heel and toe of your shoe and twist in opposite directions. If your shoe easily bends in the middle, it is time for new shoes!

Injuries that can occur if you are not wearing supportive footwear are shin splints, plantar fasciitis, IT band syndrome, and stress fractures.
