✨ Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we pause to reflect on why nonprofits matter.

At Contact Community Services, every phone call answered, every student supported, and every life touched reminds us what’s possible when a community comes together. Our Contact team had an incredible time connecting with the community at NAMIWalks 2025 hosted by NAMI Syracuse at Solvay High School! 💙

We were proud to stand alongside so many dedicated community organizations and individuals, all walking together to raise awareness, fight stigma, and show up for mental health.

Last week, Contact’s Executive Director, Antara Mitra, joined nonprofit leaders from across New York and beyond in Washington, D.C. for , hosted by Social Current.

Over two impactful days of training and a full day of meetings on Capitol Hill, Antara amplified the voices of those we serve—advocating for policies that support mental health, crisis services, and stronger community-based systems.

We’re proud to be part of a collective movement working to ensure every person has access to the care and support they need to thrive. 🧠 💙
