EAVES Ambulance

EAVES Ambulance East Area Volunteer Emergency Services Inc. This area includes all of the Village of East Syracuse and a portion of the Town of Dewitt.

The East Area Volunteer Emergency Services (EAVES) has been proudly serving the residents of the East Syracuse Fire Protection District since 1973. We provide advanced life support services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with a combination of dedicated volunteers who are supplemented by career staff. EAVES does bill for services as a way to fund our organization. We seek alternative funding to make

up the difference between what is reimbursed from insurance companies and the cost of providing ambulance service. If you are interested in making a tax deductible donation, please contact Multi-Med billing. We are able to accept check or credit card payments/donations. The telephone number for Multi-Med is 315-635-1789. Also feel free to visit our Go Fund Me page at www.gofundme.com/urxtch2k to help us build a new facility. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.

With warmer weather bringing more riders outdoors, the Cicero Police are reminding residents to follow state laws governing e-bikes, e-scooters, and off-road electric motorcycles.

Under New York law, riders of e-bikes and e-scooters must be at least 16 years old. Helmets are required for riders ages 16 and 17, and operators must follow all traffic laws, including yielding to pedestrians. Sidewalk use is prohibited unless allowed by local ordinance, and e-scooters are limited to roads with speed limits of 30 miles per hour or less.

Electric dirt bikes and off-highway motorcycles are not permitted on public roads, sidewalks, bike paths, or parks unless they are fully registered, insured, and street-legal.
The illegal operation of these vehicles poses significant safety risks to both riders and the public.
Parents and guardians are urged to ensure minors are not operating vehicles that are not legal for roadway use.

Unsafe or repeated violations could result in enforcement action, including fines, tow bills, and potential charges such as endangering the welfare of a child.

🚑❤️ Help Us Continue Saving Lives in Our Community ❤️🚑

Every day, our ambulance crews respond to emergencies when seconds matter most. From cardiac arrests and serious accidents to helping your neighbors in their most vulnerable moments — we are there 24/7, 365 days a year.

But we can’t do it alone.

As a community-based ambulance agency, we rely on the support of the people we serve to help fund:
• Life-saving medical equipment
• Advanced training for our EMTs and paramedics
• Vehicle maintenance and fuel
• Updated safety gear
• Community CPR and first aid education

Your donation — no matter the amount — directly supports emergency care right here at home.

When you give, you’re not just donating.
You’re helping us respond faster.
You’re helping us provide better care.
You’re helping save lives.

If you’re able, please consider making a donation today. Every dollar truly makes a difference.
