KISS guitarist Paul Stanley (right), who is set to embark on his final world tour, was born with a congenital ear deformity called Grade 3 Microtia, which left the external ear underdeveloped and made him nearly deaf. Thanks to his plastic surgeon, the late Dr. Frederic Rueckert, in 1982, the Rock n Roll Hall of Famer had his ear reconstructed using part of his rib. His story, like many others, is a tribute to the amazing work board-certified plastic surgeons can do!
