Monday night Quota of Iosco held their Installation Banquet at the Blue Moose Bakery in Tawas City. Owner, Heather Ugorowski, also a Quota member, was our hostess. She provided a charcuterie board in the shape of a Q! Delicious sweets too. Heather did not make the cake!

A few weeks ago Sandy Wirley, DMWC Committee member, presented a $500 check to the staff of Palomino Hope Equine Experience in Tawas. This nonprofit organization provides horse education in Tawas for disadvantaged children. They served over 40 children aged 8-14 this summer

The Disadvantaged Men, Women and Children Committee went shopping recently for two local school systems.
Clothing, shoes, toiletries, school supplies and snacks were purchased for the Whittemore-Prescott Schools and the Tawas Schools.

Mary Riley, Chairman of Quota’s Disadvantaged Women, Men and Children Committe, delivered 25 pairs of shoes to the Hale FISH Baby Pantry today. Volunteer, Kay Orncutt, was thrilled to get the shoes, as they had none available for the littlest feet.
