CAKE BATTER PROTEIN BITES! Full of healthy fats, protein, and low in sugar they’re an irresistible and nutritious dessert or post workout snack! Save this post and make a batch at the beginning of the week to pop in your mouth on busy days! 🍰
I used almond butter but cashew butter works great too. You can omit the collagen if that’s not your thing but I highly suggest adding collagen for the extra boost of protein and digestive support!
CAKE BATTER BITES
1/2 c almond butter
1/3 c melted coconut butter
1/2c almond flour
3 Tbs honey
2 scoops collagen powder
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 c Rainbow sprinkles
Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until combined into a thick dough. You may need to add more almond flour if your almond butter is more oily. Once combined roll 2 Tbs of the dough into balls and roll in the sprinkles. Store in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
