Honoring Chris Field – Meadow Lakes Groundskeeper
U.S. Marine Corps

In honor of Veterans Day, Springpoint proudly recognizes Chris Field, whose journey embodies dedication, growth, and a passion for both service and the outdoors.

Chris joined the Marine Corps in 1986 at age 24, seeking both direction and an opportunity to pursue education with military support. During his four years in the Infantry, he mastered more than the art of war—he learned teamwork, self-motivation, leadership, and the pride and unity that come with esprit de corps.

Although he nearly made the military a lifelong career, love and a desire for higher education led him to transition out in 1990. Chris pursued a degree in Ornamental Horticulture, blending the discipline he gained in the Marines with a lifelong appreciation for nature.

In 2002, Chris founded his own landscaping business in New Jersey, cultivating beauty and growth ever since. Today, as a groundskeeper at Meadow Lakes, he brings the same commitment, precision, and expertise he learned in the Marines to every part of the community he cares for.

Chris Field exemplifies how the values honed in military service—discipline, teamwork, and leadership—can thrive in any field, nurturing both the landscapes we live in and the people around us.
