Caregivers of New Jersey Caregivers of New Jersey is a DDD-approved Support Coordination provider in NJ.

Our experienced support coordinators help individuals and families understand available services, build Individualized Service Plans, and connect with trusted providers. Caregivers of New Jersey was formed in response to the growing number of caregivers within the state. With more than 1.1 million caregivers in the state, Caregivers of New Jersey will work to shed light on the mounting needs of ca

regivers and increased need for support. In addition, Caregivers of New Jersey has developed a Support Coordination team which supports many of the 1,850 individuals living in developmental centers who wish to be transitioned into the community. Support Coordination is a consumer driven process where by individuals choose where they would like to live and who they would like to support them.

There are only two days left to apply for a scholarship opportunity.

Family Resource Network is offering scholarships for graduating high school seniors in New Jersey with a qualifying diagnosis of blindness or visual impairment through its scholarship program for post-secondary education.

This scholarship looks beyond grades. It recognizes effort, involvement in activities, and the individual challenges each student has navigated along the way.

Applications are due Friday, April 24, 2026.

Build friendships, independence, and community at Out N' About (ONA).

ONA is a community inclusion program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to explore new environments, build meaningful relationships, and engage with the world around them. Each activity is designed to promote connection, confidence, and community participation.

This program is open to participants across all 21 New Jersey counties, with events taking place in Morris, Essex, and Union Counties.

If you’re looking for hands-on experience in fundraising for work that matters, this is a good place to start.

At Family Resource Network, our Development team plays a direct role in supporting programs that help individuals and families living with disabilities access the resources they need. As a Development/Fundraising Intern, you’ll gain real experience in planning special events, securing sponsorships and donations, and assisting with fundraising projects. You won’t be on the sidelines – you’ll be part of the process.

We’re looking for someone who is organized, research-driven, and ready to contribute. Ideal candidates are currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.

Our Respite Getaways program offers weekend-long respite care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, perfect for families with ongoing caregiving responsibilities.

This upcoming getaway on May 1-3 includes a trip to the Skylands Stadium Food Truck Festival, where participants can enjoy delicious food, desserts, drinks, and entertainment in a fun, accessible setting, plus an overnight stay at Homewood Suites in Edison, NJ.
