This month's blog is about decluttering your home.

Decluttering for life isn't morbid. It's just as much practical for your own well-being as it is for your loved ones when the time comes.

Hello ladies, would you like to gather for a spot of tea?

Did you know that drinking tea was once referred to as "scandal broth" when associated with women's social gatherings? It reflects an outdated stereotype of women who gather for the sole purpose of idle talk or gossip.

August 17, 2025: Today’s card reminds us that we aren’t alone in our quest for goal achievement. Not all help comes in human form, so look for signs. Support or guidance may also come from pets, plants, animals, writings, music, dreams, or Mother Nature. 💛 JoAnne

August 10, 2025 - Personal Choice: Today’s card is a mental exercise. The idea is to allow your higher-self to show you what energy you should embrace this week. If the image you are given isn’t real or feels mystical or magical, ask what characteristics are meant for you. Perhaps the message embodies a color relating to a certain chakra that needs attention, or maybe it appears light and joyful suggesting you lighten up a bit. Allow your imagination to guide you. There are no wrong messages. I’d love it if you share your findings. 💛 JoAnne

Gladiolus flowers are the birth flowers for August and known for their tall stems and colorful flowers. They are also known as sword lilies because their name is derived from the latin word sword. A common misconception is that these plants have a bulb, but it is actually called a corm. They are a perennial flower, but in colder climates they must be dug up for the winter or they won't survive.

As an added bonus visit my Resource Room for an August birth flower reading.
