The scale is one tool to use to measure progress but there are so many better ones out there. I truthfully go by how my clothes fit and my strength. If I’m getting stronger, I’m doing something right 💪🏼

Health and body composition are not determined by what happens between December 25 and January 1. They are shaped by the choices made consistently from January 1 through December 25.

Nutrition is cumulative. One holiday meal (or even a few days of indulgence) does not undo months of balanced, intentional eating. What matters most is the quality, quantity, and consistency of the foods consumed throughout the year.

Instead of stressing over short-term celebrations, focus on building sustainable habits: prioritizing whole foods, adequate protein, fiber, hydration, and mindful portions. When these foundations are in place, holiday meals become part of a healthy lifestyle rather than a setback.

Enjoy celebrations without guilt. Progress is built over time, not lost in a moment!
